උවෑටන සහ බෙලිමල් දන්සෑල -2018

Uwatana is a Service project organized by the Leos of the Leo club of Panadura- Alubomulla which was held on the 27^th (Poya day) of July 2018 at the ‘Bhikshu  Aaramaya’ located in Kaluthara. It is a very famous temple in that area and also there are more than 15 old clergies those who  need help to make their day to-day life activities easier.

First of all we have cleaned their rooms and then we took clergies one by one for a bath. This was a very risky task for our members because some clergies even can’t walk properly because they are that much older and weak. Then we have washed them with steamed water and shaved their beard and hair. Not only that, we’ve washed  and dry their robes .After finishing these tasks , then we cleaned the  washroom and finished that task.

However, as a team ,we could able to manage the time very well and we finished that task around 1.00pm .Then we start to make Belimal while we getting our lunch and then served Belimal for the clergies and for the devotees.
